The other day I blurted out ‘Thank God 2013 is over!’ as if this year was my worst. As you know I had a rough couple of months and was eagerly waiting for 2014 to start fresh and correct the mistakes made. It was obvious I dwelled only on the shitty things that happened to me and took for granted all the great things that came my way as well. Having realized that I was my ungrateful whinny self, I sat myself in bed last night and jotted down all the great moments and memorable experiences this year. It was much needed exercise to look back and appreciate everything that happened, good or bad, big or small moments. Looking back, I’m truly grateful to have traveled to new places and met interesting people along the way, to have shared new experiences with Anthony (1st year wedding anniversary and skydiving) and to be able to continue to do what I love to do.
I also took the time to look at my previous blog posts and pulled together my memorable and favorite posts that I want to share with you. Clumsy Chic started as a creative exercise but grew into something significant in my life. I want to thank my readers for investing your time in continuously following my blog. I would love to connect with you and hear your thoughts and suggestions on what you’d like to see on the blog. You can find me on Facebook or on e-mail at [email protected]
Wishing everyone a great 2014.
