I’m a bit origami loser and it’s something I enjoy doing to distress and it yield beautiful result. Now origami is taking the streets of Europe and Asia with the urban installation of French artist Mademoiselle Maurice. The street art is characterized by folding hundreds of origami creations in a spectrum of vivid colors that are installed to the city’s façade forming geometric shapes. After spending a year in Japan where the Fukishima explosion occurred, the artist began this project as homage to the symbolic paper crane that is a symbol of peace in Japan.
