What do Kanye West and I have in common? We both fell fashion victim on the latest stan smith cult. If Kanye was reading this, he will be quick to point out that he is no victim but an initiator and a god- ok, Mr. West.

Anyway, let’s move on… I have long waited and bookmarked the release date of the new 2014 Adidas Stan Smith shoes. Why the anticipation? It’s one of the most popular footwear styles in existence with its classic vintage silhouette, white leather and iconic green stamp at the back. And you know I’m all about classic pieces that have a story behind it but truth be told, I obsessed about it only after seeing Pheobe Philo and Sofia Coppola wear it with androgynous clothes: coat, boyfriend sweater, wide leg trousers. Any style that will may be look like a boy-I’m sold.

So a word of warning, you will see a lot of Stan on my blog worn with jeans, suit and even dresses. You can either hate it or join the cult- Kanye West would love it.
