As if spending time in Paris isn’t romantic enough, I was serenaded into falling madly in love with the city this weekend. A stay in a hotel suite overlooking Palais Royal, eating deserts for breakfast at La Maison du Chocolat and getting decked up in designer duds exclusively designed for the Parisian department store Printemps Haussmann.
Printemps marked the first day of spring with their 150th anniversary celebration. ‘Printemps’ (which means spring in French) pulled all stops and decked the store’s façade, window displays and the department store’s interiors in Le Printemps’ signature pink shade and floral motifs. 11 French artists displayed their art on the windows displays that merges fashion and art quite perfectly. My favorite part is getting to meet, ‘Rose’ the Printemps mascot created by Japanese artist Hiroshi Yoshii. I wanted to take her home with me but got a miniature version instead as a souvenir.
At the day of the anniversary, the store was transformed into spring haven, where visitors, myself included are treated to champagne, flowers, balloons and even cotton candy. There were a number of free activities each floor including a nail bar at Christian Louboutin, photo booth at Armani Jeans, free flower crowns at Escada and gold lock balloons at Mulberry. It was by far the coolest store party in the world.
Pinks, flowers, a cute mascot, a chocolate atrium and over 1,000 exclusive designer items, Printemps, especially this spring is a must-visit place whether you’re from Paris or traveling to Paris.

Amazing pictures!
It seems that Printemps has really put a lot of efforts into it.
It’s also pretty amazing to think that Printemps is 150 years old.
I wish I had been there!
Thank you so much. Printemps is such a great heritage brand that keeps on evolving itself, like Spring.
