The last time I was in Paris, I was there only for three days to find a wedding dress. Pretty romantic reason to go that was made even sweeter with a cute fiancé in your arms. We climbed the Eiffel Tower, sat in a cafe, and placed our love locks at the bridge. Years later, I’m back in the city for three days yet again but this time for a different yet special reason: fashion. Being whisked away to Paris by Printemps was a career highlight for me as a blogger. I remember reading other bloggers’ trips, wishing that I could one day, get the same opportunity. So here I am, walking around Paris, reflecting on how blessed I am to have had this experience. Now I fully agree with the saying ‘Paris is always a good idea’.
Here’s a snippet of my afternoon in Paris.
If you are ever in Paris, I highly recommend staying at Grand Hotel Palais Royal. The historical building was renovated and meticulously designed with functionality in mind. Think heated bathroom floors, strategic lighting, lots of closet space, and designer furniture. It’s a small boutique hotel with a wonderful view of Palais Royal. The staff speak impeccable English (not snobby), it’s right beside the Louvre, metro station and a cute little cafe.

Love that artwork from Daniel Buren in Palais Royal! It created quite some “controversy” back in the days!
