Entering the Grand Hyatt Doha feels like you are entering an Arabian palace - with its palatial entrance, grand stairs and impressive floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel evokes a sense of grandeur that is both hospitable and modern while remaining traditional and elegant; qualities that reflect the country in which the hotel resides.
Whether you’re a tourist taking advantage of visa-free travel to Qatar, or a resident looking for a staycation during Doha’s marvelous winter, the Grand Hyatt Doha is definitely one of the places to explore.
To really enjoy the true opulence of the hotel’s features, its idyllic beachfront and wonderful culinary experiences I suggest packing your best clothes, being ready for an adventure and exploring the trip of a lifetime.
Nestled in Doha’s West Bay Lagoon area, the Grand Hyatt Doha is tucked away on a private beach, hidden from the hectic pace of Doha’s business district. Spanning 38 acres, the hotel has facilities to suit absolutely everyone. Travelers on a stopover can indulge in a pre-flight treatment at the award-winning Jaula Spa and families will enjoy the hotel’s private beach and stretching your legs in the vast garden area. No matter the reason for your visit the hotel can create the grandest of moments with a romantic dinner by the beach, a special birthday celebration or a night that promises epic fun with friends.
Over the past few years, the Grand Hyatt Doha has honed its culinary offering to provide guests with memorable experiences that are both grand and unique. The vibrant colors, relaxed atmosphere, and space to chill in the Santa Monica Breakfast Club brought a Californian-style to Doha. The menu offers a vast selection of all-day breakfast items, hand-crafted burgers, and epic milkshakes that are well and truly worthy of an Instagram photo!
For truly authentic Thai food Isaan, the Grand Hyatt’s in-house restaurant is considered one of the best in Qatar. Every Friday, Isaan will take you on a culinary journey with its Chatuchak brunch. Immerse yourself in a truly unique version of the Middle East-weekend experience, with a colorful array of authentic Thai dishes, live cooking stations and inspired drinks to enhance the mood.
Perhaps the best thing about being in Doha during winter is the absolute gorgeous weather, reminiscent of a mild summer in Europe! Experience the Grand Hyatt Doha’s grandeur by soaking up the sun at the hotel’s 400-metre long private beach area, one of the 3 outdoor swimming pools or the vast garden area. Dip your toes in one of the many outdoor facilities with complete relaxation, exclusivity and fun for guests.
The Grand Hyatt Doha redefines what ‘living grand’ means, providing guests with lavish in-room facilities and regal treatment within the Al Mirqab suite. The suite boasts its very own living, dining, and office areas as well as a separate bedroom, marble bathroom and walk-in closet. Adding to the grandness of the suite is its unparalleled panoramic view from the L-shaped balcony. Indulge in a truly wonderful experience, ordering room service breakfast from your sunny balcony, with a glorious sea view.
The grand experience at the Grand Hyatt Doha wouldn’t be complete without a spa treatment fit for royalty at their award-winning Jaula Spa. The spa provides complete tranquility and an escape from everyday life, with signature massage treatment and facials. Their expert therapists and the serene setting will take your troubles away.
After spending the weekend at the Grand Hyatt Doha, I concluded that what makes it truly grand is not just the impressive facilities and lavish architecture, but it’s the hotel team going the extra mile to create memorable experiences that will leave guests in awe. Whether you’re a first-time visitor to the Middle East or a long-seasoned expat, the friendly and knowledgeable team really ensure that your every need is accommodated – either within the hotel, or if you’re looking to explore the country at its doorstep.
Grand Hyatt hotels are inviting everyone to explore places in the Middle East (Qatar included), India, and Africa by staying in one of their properties and save up to 25% off.
