French skincare range Biologique Recherche (BR) is buzzing in the beauty world and Four Seasons Hotel Doha jumped on board by bringing the highly covetable facial treatment to Qatar and I’m here to vouch of its excellence.
I may not speak French but I’m fluent when it comes to French skincare products and BR reign supreme among skincare connoisseurs around the world. What’s with all the hype? Biologique Recherche was founded by a biologist, a physiotherapist, and a doctor. Their aim was to come up with an effective clinical formulation using high concentration and pure active ingredients derived from natural botanics and plant extracts. It short, these products are both effective and efficient.
BR is responsible for transforming the quality of my skin and keeping my acne at bay. I used a range of products including the miracle P50 lotion pre-pregnancy and it’s by far the best skincare range I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot.
When I heard that Four Seasons Doha is offering their world-renowned facial treatment, I jumped on the chance to give this tired, sleepless mom a skin rescue. I booked a 120 minute customized facial treatment that includes face enhancements with a state-of-the-art Face Remodeling machine (more on that later).
The great thing about this facial is that it is customized to your skin needs. Before the facial, I went through a skin analysis wherein I talked about my skin concerns, skincare routine with the therapist and my skin condition was analyzed using a machine. Dehydration and sallow skin was the main concerns and that’s what tackled at this session in addition to my acne flare-ups.
Welcome Massage
I’ve tried a number of facials in the past and now I think every facial treatment should start with a face and shoulder massage. Not only did it put me in a relaxing mode but also massaging the face increases circulation and stimulates collagen.
Cleansing
The first phase is cleansing which involved makeup removal, cleanse, tone, and a face mist. It may sound pretty straightforward but in this phase comes the cult product P50 lotion. It’s packed with vitamins and antioxidants. It exfoliates, hydrates, balances pH levels. It’s been dubbed as the ‘miracle in the bottle’.
Serum
The next phase is a cocktail of serums that are targeted for my face’s concerns. This included a hydrating serum, Extraits Tissulaires, revitalizing serum, Oligo-Proteines Marines, and for tightening the pores, Dermopore.
Mask
After the serums, next up was a combination of mask to help penetrate the serum better but also to enhance my skin’s complexion. I might add that these masks have a funny smell to it because of its natural ingredients. It takes some time getting used to the smell but it does wonders to the face, I promise.
Face Remodeling Machine
This machine is used to enhance and helps penetrate the products deeper in the skin. It uses different electric current that plumps, tighten, and brighten the skin.
Finishing Touch
As finishing products, placenta cream, eye and lip serum, and sun protection were applied.
The Result
A real-life Snapchat filter!
My face looked renewed as you can see in the before and after shot. It was clear of imperfections; it was radiant, smooth, and toned. Like I mentioned before, I do a lot of facials but this facial is a game changer. My skin never looked this good before. I also came out of there feeling super relaxed from the face massage and the gentle approach and application of products in each phase.
Ladies, if you want a facial that delivers immediate results, Biologique Recherche Facial Treatment is the way to go. The treatment is on the pricier side but it promises amazing results, so you get what you pay for.

Your skin is gorgeous. But perhaps I would have more conviction to try it out, if the before and after pglhotos had the same background and lighting?
