Download Clumsy Chic 5-day Havana Travel Itinerary
We travelled to different parts of Cuba and Havana was an easy favorite. Although, the time spent at the beach was wonderful, there’s nothing quite like feeling the pulsating energy of Havana. It’s a treat for the senses.
For photography enthusiasts like Anthony and I, we found ourselves spellbound and could not let our camera shutters rest. Every corner, every face and every facet of the Cuban lives fascinated us.
Havana, in particular is buzzing with life and you can feel the soul of the people. Live bands battle each other in neighboring drinking establishments, music is blaring at people’s houses and the women gather outside braiding each other’s hair while the kids play soccer in the streets.
I mentioned from my last post that we had not looked at our itineraries not even once and let the city dictate what we should be doing. At the end of our trip, we couldn’t ask for a better time and experience and decided to share it with you.
This 5-day Havana travel guide summarizes our experience in the city. This guide will give is an introduction to the cultural heritage of the country; let’s you experience local activities, and partake in the emerging food and art revolution that is sweeping Havana.
Cuba is definitely a trip that took me out of my comfort zone and revealed something new about myself. The absence of technology definitely forced me to live in the moment and celebrate the little pleasures in life. It’s the things that money can’t buy that we will treasure the most.
I hope that you will enjoy reading this travel guide as much as I enjoyed reliving our experience on paper. I also hope that this will entice you to travel to Havana soon.
