I always feel at home whenever I’m in Montreal. Instead of staying in a hotel, Anthony and I prefer staying in an Air BnB apartment, so we are close to our favorite neighborhood. We skip on the touristic activities, instead, living the life of Montrealers.
Our typical day would start with walking to the nearest coffee shop for coffee to go then trying out different brunch spots, walk off our meal by going vintage shopping. Afterward, we head to the park or visit whatever festivals is going on. At night, we’d meet our friends then meet our friends for dinner and drinks.
Montreal is easily on the top of my favorite places to visit. The city is never short of festivals and free activities. You’re surrounded by art, fantastic restaurants, and lots of small boutiques. Life is pretty laid back in Montreal, and the people are the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered.
I could see myself living in Montreal. One day… but in the meantime, I’m happy playing the role of a Montrealer even for two weeks.
