Clumsy Chic’s Holiday Gift Guide for ‘Her’ is here!

Today is the 1^st of December, which means it’s officially Christmas season and I’m kicking this off with my annual holiday gift guide for ‘Her’.

I’m very excited to share this guide with you because I concentrated on gift items that you can buy here in Doha. Say goodbye to late shipping and expensive shipping charges!

It took weeks of research and driving all over Doha to bring you personally handpicked selections that are versatile, affordable and covetable. There’s something for the woman in your life from plush bathrobe for moms, a fun Christmas stuffer for your BFF, and a cute 2017 agenda for yourself, and much more!

1. H&M Knitted Jumper, QR 149 (Most major malls): I love Doha’s winter, as it really is more like sweater weather. A great cashmere sweater is great for this season and transitions well to early spring 

2. Ready Steady Glow Cookbook, QR 145, Virgin Megastore in Landmark and Villaggio Mall: I’ve been following Madeiline Shaw’s YouTube channel and her cookbook really focuses less on diet and food restrictions and more on healthy and clean eating. The recipes in this book are also quick to do and rely on ingredients that you already have at home.

3. L’Occitane Advent Calendar, QR 199 (Most major malls): I’ve been gifted their advent calendar last year and it made me feel like a little kid again, waking up in the morning and crack open one of the boxes. Most importantly, you get 25 travel-sized products in the end. Talk about a useful gift that you can give now.

4. Marks and Spencer Belted Trench, QR 350, Landmark and Villaggio Mall: A trench coat is a classic and is one of my winter season staple. This is also great to pack when traveling and it goes well with anything you wear.

5. Ted Baker Travel Wallet, QR 465, Lagoona Mall: I’m a sucker for anything organization and this cute travel wallet will ensure an easy and relaxed transition through the airport. No more rummaging through your big hand carry to find your passport or ticket. The color looks so cute; I wouldn’t mind carrying this around with me in the airport.

6. La Cafetiere Origins Pisa French Press, QR 200, Lakeland in Gulf Mall and City Center: Coffee, and lots and lots of it, is needed when you’re a mom. This 8-cup French press ensures that you have a fresh pot of coffee at arms reach.

7. Topshop Bathtrobe, QR 199, Villaggio Mall: Topshop is a great place to find cozy and plush loungewear. This bathrobe had me at the first touch and the cheeky slogan at the back that says, “I’m not a Morning Person” makes this bathrobe even cuter.

8. Ban.do 2017 Agenda, QR 119, Virgin Megastore in Landmark and Villaggio Mall: Raise your hand if you have trouble finding a functional and good-looking agenda. Now you don’t have to use that free company agenda and go for this fun weekly agenda that’s got stickers, pocket, note pages and even a page for birthdays and special occasions. 

9. Calvin Klein Watch, QR 600, Hour Choice in Villaggio and City Center: Calvin Klein watches are going back in fashion and this sleek design is great for day and night. Bonus: It’s on sale!

10. Swarovski Funk Necklace, QR 659 in Landmark and Lagoona Mall: Swarovski makes for a great present all year round. Their jewelry and accessories are fashionable, affordable, and wearable. I particularly love this necklace to wear for everyday and great for stacking multiple necklaces for special occasions.

11. Diptyque L’Ombre Perfume, QR 500, The Pearl Qatar: I only visit Diptyque to pick up candles, but the last time I was there, I sampled their fragrances and it was a revelation. If you’re looking to give a unique and special fragrance to someone, I recommend Diptyque. My favorite is L’Ombre, which reminds me of a nice fresh day, strolling around a garden. 

12. Nike Air Max Thea sneakers, QR 569, Go Sports in Villaggio and City Center: A sneaker that you can wear both at the gym to the street. This Nike Air Max is lightweight, fashionable and sleek.

13. Mango Leather Shopper Bag, QR 239 (most major malls):Every woman needs a large tote bag to carry her life around and this version is a little more luxurious with its buttery soft suede fabric. The front pocket is what sold me to it.

14. Yell Energy Mini Plus, QR 129, Villaggio and City Center Mall: I hang out with a lot of my blogger friends and one of us always runs out of phone battery in the middle of an event or gathering. Never miss a Snapchat moment with this mini power bank.

15. Real Technique Core Collection, QR 179, City Lifestyle in Center Point, City Center, and Gulf Mall: Although makeup makes for a great present, it can be tricky if you don’t know the person’s skin tone or preference. For a beauty addict, this travel sized brush set contains the must-have brushes for applying, contouring and buffing.

16. Throw The One, QR 399, Landmark Mall: This holiday season is made for cozying up in the sofa with a cup of hot coco and watching Netflix (btw, have you guys watched the new Gilmore Girls?). This faux fur throw from The One, is seriously soft and warm; you won’t want to leave the sofa at all.
