Naomi started going to the nursery twice a week last week. We walk her to her nursery and drop her off by 7am. It’s still too early for anything to be open, so breakfast at a restaurant is not even an option (this is a PSA to Jones the Grocer to please open at 7am).
We walk back home and spotted a row of empty bleachers for the UCI Championships. My mind automatically goes ‘photoshoot location’. Since we have a rare free time, I drag my reluctant husband for an impromptu shoot without even changing into an outfit that’s ‘blog worthy’. I now look at these pictures and thought to call this post ‘Nursery Drop Off Style’ because there is really nothing special about this look except the fact that this a 100 percent Karen look.
Ever since becoming a Mom, I’ve embraced a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers uniform. It’s comfortable and easy to thrown on. I’ve been particularly attracted to sports tees like this one from Adidas and have collected a few pieces. This is quite an update from a colorphobe like me but I love this shade of red and with the classic Adidas logo. Throw in big sunglasses, fancy earrings and I can easily conceal my red puffy eyes from crying after dropping Naomi off.
