Dress: Needles and Thread | Shoes: Manolo Blahniks and Stan Smith | Bag: Prada | Bracelet: Cartier
We travelled far, far away to a land called Armenia. After what seemed to be a 36-hour journey that included a 5am pit stop at McDonalds at Dubai airport, we landed in Yerevan in search for the next Kardashian clan (Hollywood producers, take note). We found no booty to match the reality TV stars, but what we found though, was a bride far more beautiful that the Kardashians combined, and she was to wed her prince charming in a quaint historical monastery.
The church, nestled in the lush forested mountains was the perfect backdrop for this fairytale wedding. Knowing the bride loved a good romantic setting; I wanted my look to complement the special occasion. This dress has the perfect vintage vibe with the intricate beading, and lush fabric and my hair and makeup look was kept romantic and fresh.
And my Stan Smith shoes? Had to do it. When guests were informed that we needed to hike for 10 minutes to reach the church, I was not going to risk the life of my Manolos (it was also my wedding shoes). I think Stan was the ‘clumsy’ to my ‘chic’ look.
What do you think of this look? Yay or Nay? Let me know on the comment section below.
