Style Resolution 2: Thou shalt recycle my wardrobe.

How many times have we used the excuse “It’s an investment piece” to justify a purchase only to find it shoved at the back of your closet after one wear? After a much-needed closet clean up this month, I found some pieces that are once ‘investment pieces’, now forgotten. Some, embarrassingly still have their price tags on. I felt like I went on a shopping spree just by rummaging through my closet and felt a sense of excitement once again.

Lesson of this story is that this year, I will recycle and rely on my loved pieces and challenge myself to create a number of looks. Olivia Palermo is a master at recycling clothes as evidenced here (this woman can do no wrong). To kick off this exercise, here is an outfit I pulled together on a day out.
