RAMADAN KAFTAN

Having lived in Doha for all my life, it’s only been in recent years that I’ve come to appreciate arabic designs, particularly a ramadan kaftan like this one. I think it’s partly because I want to be culturally appropriate especially during this holy month. But I’ve seen a lot of beautiful Ramadan kaftans and admired the intricate designs and craftsmanship involved in making these beautiful pieces just take a look at this one.

I completely fell in love with this Ramadan kaftan made by a local designer that she intricately hand made. It’s the perfect combination of modern and traditional. I love the idea that I can wear it with a simple jeans and t-shirt yet it works as a statement piece for nighttime when worn with a simple black dress and strappy heels.
