
Although Halloween is not widely celebrated here in Doha, I don’t pass on the chance to gobble on Halloween candies (candy corn and Reese’s Pieces are my weakness) and make a special spooky cocktails. Last weekend happens to be my cheat day so Anthony and I decided to organize a date night that involves burger, candies and a special his and her concoction. It may sound lame but any excuse to whip up cocktails, I’m for it. I decided to keep the ‘her’ cocktail sweet and smooth with midori and my favorite liquor cointreau while ‘his’ cocktail has more of a kick combining white and dark rum. Since Halloween is in a couple of days, these are two cocktails to spice up the festivity. Decorate each glass with spider ice cubes or fake blood with thick syrup like grenadine.
