EFFORTLESS CHIC

I am technically a petite. Although there are rules on how to dress for my scale, I choose to ignore most  of them and dress for my own comfort. Comfort for me is anything oversized, slightly androgynous and anything flats. My style choices may trigger the snooze button for some people but I’m all about looking and feeling effortless. I love fashion but at the end of the day, I don’t like to waste my time thinking or obsessing about what I wear. My style has definitely evolved over the years, embarrassingly documented through this blog, but my philosophy about style remains true.

Which brings me to the reason why I started and named my blog Clumsy Chic in the first place. I didn’t name my blog because I’m clumsy and that I am chic. ‘Clumsy Chic’ is about not taking fashion, beauty, and life seriously and taking a stumble once in a while. Be clumsy in a sense that your style is not too put together and calculated, all that matters is you are a true expression of yourself and that is the definition of chic to me. Can I get an amen?!
