In my mission to finding the best burger in town, my sartorial choices have taken a back seat and have happily settled with the ‘normcore’ tribe. I’m on my way to fashion snoozeville one burger at a time folks. Even my husband has expressed distaste on my current get up and said I looked like a stereotypical tourist. In my defense, I haven’t reached the ‘socks with Birkenstock’ yet so he’s a tad over- dramatic.

May I also add that the lack of seasonal shift in Doha has had me reaching out for more functional clothing that consist of oversized tops, roomy bottoms, and sensible footwear. I’m waiting with bated breath for the slightest wind movement in the air so that I can step up my fashion game and master the art of layering again because right now, the only layers I see is my belly fat from all the burgers I’ve been chowing.

On a side note, on my list of the top three-burger joints are Shake Shack, Fat Burger, and Burgerry Doha (Burgerry wins an award for its industrial décor).
